Welcome to another great season of "Women on Wednesday" - WOW Golf at Sturgeon Point.

Participation is open to all interested ladies, whether Club members or greens fee players. Worried about the quality of your play? Don’t be. WOW is for players of all skill levels who are interested in a little friendly competition and lot of fun.

Every week is designed to maximize good times and offer a variety of games and play - (e.g., Hidden Hole; Bingo, Bango, Bongo; Three-Club Golf).

Your $3 dues paid for each outing goes into a pot for an end-of season prize, paid out at the Annual General Meeting!

How to play

Signup is weekly. The sheet is available at the Pro Shop all week, or you can call or email the Pro Shop to get your name on the list. The weekly deadline for sign up is Monday evening. Teams are organized Tuesday mornings for Wednesday’s play. (Non-members should include their email when signing up to ensure they receive information about tee times and other details.)

Tee Times

Tee times will be emailed on Tuesday. If you have a preferred tee time, please indicate this on the sign-up sheet (e.g. ‘early time’ or ‘last group.’) We do our best to accommodate all requests. You may also book a preferred time through the Club’s online booking system using the Chronogolf app.

Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before your tee-time to avoid delays. Please call the clubhouse (705-887-3144) if you need to cancel.

WOW members may also play later in the day by booking their tee time online or through the Club. Members playing later are asked to play in pairs or better and make sure their dues for that week get to the WOW coordinator.
