The Facilities

Everything You Need for a Perfect Day on the Course

At Sturgeon Point Golf Club, the experience doesn’t begin and end on the fairway. Our historic facilities have been lovingly maintained and improved to ensure that every visit — whether you’re a first-time guest or a decades-long member — feels like coming home.

The Clubhouse

In the early 1920s, the course underwent a transformative redesign by C.E. Robinson — a protégé of the legendary Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thomson. Robinson’s body of work includes some of Canada’s most celebrated layouts: Brudenell and Mill River in Prince Edward Island, Cedar Brae, Credit Valley and Dalewood in Ontario, and the acclaimed remodelling of Thomson masterpieces St. George’s and Westmount. In 2002, C.E. Robinson was inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame. At Sturgeon Point, his thoughtful design legacy is present in every hole.

The Pro Shop

Flat and wonderfully walkable, with short, scenic strolls between greens and tees, Sturgeon Point is the kind of course where first-timers feel at home and seasoned players find plenty to respect. The terrain is varied, the views over Sturgeon Lake are unforgettable, and the challenge is always honest.

For those who want to play 18, we recommend teeing off from the forward tees (blue or yellow) on the first nine, then stepping up to the black tees for the back nine — a fresh perspective and a genuinely different test of your game.

Practice Facilities

Hone your game on our full driving range, or work the short game on our chipping and putting greens and practice bunker. Please note that practice facilities are occasionally reserved for junior camps and adult clinics — check with the Pro Shop for current availability.
