A Member-Led Club, Rooted in Community
Sturgeon Point Golf Club is governed by its members, for its members. A volunteer Board of Directors oversees the affairs of the Club, bringing together dedicated community members who share a commitment to keeping SPGC a place the entire Sturgeon Point community can be proud of.
2025/2026 Board of Directors
The Club is managed by a Board of seven elected Directors, each holding a dedicated portfolio:

Clubhouse — Jeff Dionne
Greens — Jacqui Mutch
Communication — Kevin Robson
Secretary — Cynthia Sneath
Treasurer — Greg Young
Events — Ken House
The Board is a working Board — each Director contributes meaningful time and effort to the day-to-day life of the Club. Portfolio assignments are confirmed at the Annual General Meeting. Board members represent both the village of Sturgeon Point and the broader surrounding community.
Elections
When there are more candidates than Board positions, an election is held at the Annual General Meeting. All adult members are eligible to vote, with balloting conducted through a combination of online and paper formats shortly after nominations close.
Committees
SPGC’s volunteer committees are a vital bridge between the membership and the Board — bringing member voices directly into decisions about the course and the clubhouse.
